Guest Jezza
Gulval have also updated their website for next season Gulvalafc Nice work 'Knack' very impressive, is that still a 'Joomla' based site? I have been looking into using a similar template based CMS sytem for my TMSAFC site, I wrote the original in plain HTML and although I've always liked the look of it it's a pain in the backside to keep updated. I had a RocketTheme template 90% there and then accidently deleted the database without having a useable backup so I'm trying to recreate in time for new season to get up and running. Safe to say I won't be making that mistake again, bit embarrasing really as I'm an IT Manager and preach it non stop! I'll link up all the sites on here once sorted so best of luck to all for the forthcoming season and see you all back here for some healthy debate as the season progresses. Jez Hey Jez, yep it is still based on joomla. I have just upgraded to the 1.5.3 version which is a lot better than the old 1.0.x release. I did start out hand coding the site a few years back but since installing a CMS system I would never go back. The managers etc have publisher rights and can just upload any news without having to go through me, saves me a lot of time and effort If you need any help getting your joomla install working just send us an email and ill try and help you out.
