Mike Odgers
In form Witheridge make their first ever visit to Bickland Park tomorrow in the SWPL(P) currently defending a 11 match unbeaten run. Falmouth returned from a hot sunny day at Edge Down Park earlier in the season with a comfortable 3-0 victory but since then the Mid Devon club have strengthened their team which will include Aaron Harper-Penman from Falmouth and the legendary Ex Tiverton striker Phil Everett. Phil Everett will be making his first return to Bickland since playing in the infamous FA Cup tie with Tiverton when Town won with a Luke Hodge winner in 98/99 before a gate of 833. I remember his late dipping shot scraping Sid Taylor's crossbar to deny a replay. In his spell with Tiverton he netted 378 goals from 502 appearances 1992-2003 taking them from the Western League into the Southern League Premier. If Falmouth get maximum points from their remaining fixtures third place is there for them.
