Falmouth Ath 5 - 3 Helston Ath

Good game, played in fine spirit. Reckon we probably played the better football, but the pace up front was too much for our defence!

A good game tonight at Dracaena between Falmouth Athletic and Helston in Div 3.

Athletic went 3 up with a lob from M. Cudlipp who then got a tap following a Aaron Richards free kick off the post.

Jack Foote had a smasher from the edge of box and Helston missed a penalty but pulled one back just before half time.

Both teams also had goals disallowed for offside.

Helston then scored early in the 2nd half to make it an interesting game.

Ronnie Tregus got Falmouth's 4th then Helston got another.

A frantic last 20 minutes followed then Jake Harvey cooly rounded the keeper to make it 5-3.

Athletic definitley had the first half and in honesty perhaps Helston the second.

I'm just glad Athletic keeper Joel Richardson was bang on form tonight. Solid game.

Thanks to Helson to a fair game who pushed us all the way. Cheers guys.
