Northernmonkey
Very entertaining game at Mount Wise on Friday night. Both sides attacked and showed some good endeavour. Newquays very youthful side played some good football but were really vulnerable at set pieces. At least two of the St Day goals came from corners. The big Turner in midfield for Newquay played well and scored a pen. However, the stand out player for me was Lowry, who reminded me of Berbatov. Looked like he was doing nothing then came alive in the final third and scored a beautiful chip! St Day were solid and would cope in the SWPL. Really liked the big St Day CF who was an old school target man. Great at holding up the ball but he needed a fast partner alongside him. St Day seemed to run out of fitness in the last 15 mins but were more than a match for Newquay prior to this. Entertainment 8.5/10 😀😀 Mark Leah
100%cornish
Phil Lowry usually does have a fast partner beside him in Alex COLE who is injured but Phil doesnt usually play as good as he did last night but he does hold the ball up well but the normal front 2 players will be Alex Cole and Louis Price both out injured at the moment
