jannerlad
Which Tamarside side will be playing? Will it be their Saturday side with their full time players or their weekday side with a "Plymouth select eleven" ???????
Guest
What an odd question jannerlad. Tamarside ECPL side will be playing Torpoint Atheltic ECPL side in the ECPL League Cup final. The only players eligible to play are those who have played at least a certain number of mtaches in the ECPL this season. I think it is 5 Tamarside have only played four midweek league games so far this season. Liskeard (A) 22nd August Lost 2-1 Torpoint Athletic (A) 29th August drew 0-0 Saltash United (A) 2nd April won 2-0 Saltash United (H) 16th April won 1-0. In the league cup they have played 6 mid week matches Callington Town (A) 5th September Won 4-1 Saltash United (H) 19th September Won 3 -1 Torpoint Athletic (A) 26th September Lost 4-3 Liskeard Athletic (A) 3rd October Won 6-1 Polperro (H) 10th October Won 6-1 Saltash United (A) 14th November Lost 2-0 In all mid week matches they have W6 D1 L3 which is about on par with their league results. I'm not trying to defend Tamarside I just don't get your question
jannerlad
To be honest ECPL it was more of a sarcastic question. Tamarside have used many players this season that play week in week out for other teams(mainly higher level sides). Are these players going to be involved in the cup final?? If so, then in my opinion it makes a mockery of the cup competition. Again this is only my view but one player = one club.
Dave Deacon
Who do Lance Bailey and Paul Jago normally play for?
Darren Stewart
The Ex Tamarsiders always grab the opportunity to turn out for the Blue Army if needed!! Paul Jago plays for a Plymouth side in a league graded the same as the ECPL ,Lance Bailey has been with us for the last month and til the end of the season. Both are included in the Cup Final Squad. (Welcome back Danny Brooks, good to have you back til the end of the season) Good luck to Pottsy and the boys tomorrow!! www.tamarsidefootball.co.uk

Dave Deacon
Lance Bailey has been with us for the last month and til the end of the season. So I assume this is a different Lance Bailey than the one that played for Ivybridge (and scored) last Saturday against Bodmin Town in the Premier Division of the South West Peninsula League.
