Age UK walking football league Cornwall

Well after a few setbacks,  The Age UK sponsored Cornwall walking football league starts on Sunday 12th June , divided into East and West Divisions,  played at a central venue , with the top teams proceeding to a finals day in September  , the league games will take part on 12th June , 10th July , 14th Aug . 

Walking football is open to anyone over the age of 50 , men and women.  The clubs participating are all affiliated to the CCFA who have been behind Cornwall walking football all the way . 

The East Division will play at Launceston College  Pl15  9JR 

Teams  Lanivet  ,StAustell Saints , St Austell ,Dobwells , Wormenstow.

West Division playing at Camborne College Tr15 3Rl

Teams ,Helston,  Falmouth, Roseland ,St.Agnes ,Troon ,Penwith Nomads .

Games start at 2 PM on a round Robin basis , 

Supporters are welcome at both venues,  there is also a list of clubs available on the CCFA website .

Walking football is a great way to get kicking a ball again , for fun , fitness,  and socialising,  most clubs have players who are happy to train but are not competitive,   it's a non contact , no running version of basically 5 a side rules , dont go on what's on YouTube,  give it a try , good fun .
