razor61
Sticker Ladies 4-0 Penryn League leaders Sticker were pushed all the way by a spirited Penryn team who made the brighter start forcing their hosts to defend from the first whistle but found themselves behind when in-form striker Tori Marks fired Sticker into a 1-0 lead. This didn’t deter the visitors who kept Sticker on their toes but without really troubling Brogan O’Brien in the home goal in a game where Janine Butterly, captain Lauren Bennett and Angelee Robinson were a strong defensive unit throughout proceedings. Sticker took a firm foothold in the game When Marks grabbed her brace and Sticker’s second goal before grabbing her hattrick after a slick passage of play from the home side, Penryn never gave up though and can take a lot of credit and confidence from their performance. Kaitlyn Butterly-Reakes capped a fine debut for Sticker grabbing their fourth goal when her long-range effort nestled in the corner of the Penryn keepers net, this was tough on her as she had a superb game for Penryn, pulling off some great saves throughout the match. Star player for Sticker was 16 year old Amy Pope who played with real composure and was very assured on the ball.
