Foxhole should have wrapped up this game in the opening half hour, but contrived to waste a number of chances and were grateful for Bromley's fantastic 30-yard drive five minutes from time to rescue a point they barely deserved after a wretched second half display.

Early on, Chatfield had excelled, tipping Warne's free-kick onto a post, diving to push over Hill's fierce effort and then denying Holland at full stretch, although he was relieved to watch another Hill piledriver fly over the bar. Mousehole weren't in it but, in a rare sortie, Patrick overcame a weak challenge on the touchline to release Ivanov, who finished easily.

The Foxes might have equalised immediately when Warne's low centre appeared to hit Holland virtually on the line, but they were never to threaten Chatfield's clean sheet again until Bromley's timely intervention. Mousehole could have extended their lead, but Ryan Holland denied both Patrick and Prowse while some crude defending brought bookings for Bullock and Rowe.

The towering Cape comfortably dealt with numerous hopeful high balls as Foxhole's play deteriorated further, so Bromley's tremendous strike was out of keeping with the level of performance. Bullock's second caution on 87 minutes ensured some nervy moments late on, but the ten men held on for a valuable point.
