It was a good match - the definitive game of two halves - with Mousehole threatening to run riot in the first period, before a stronger performance by Porthleven in the second earned them a point. For as long as I can remember it has been the local men's institute (mainly the local snooker club) but its future use is currently under discussion I believe. The adjacent house has been the local council offices for a number of years. And also the town clock, hence the tower.
