19 of the regions clubs will contest the Preliminary Round of the SSE FA Cup which takes place on Sunday 1st September. It has not been the best of draws for the three Cornish clubs who have all been drawn away. Facing a tough visit to Plymouth is newly formed St Austell who face the daunting task of taking on Marine Academy Plymouth. St Agnes can feel well pleased with their first season in the South West League but face a tricky visit to Bideford who achieved promotion despite finishing third. The 'Aggies' held Bideford to a 3-3 draw in October but went down 2-0 in February in the reverse fixture. There is also a difficult trip for RNAS Culdrose when the Cornwall League outfit travel to Devon to play Torquay United.
