Was just wandering how many goals have been scored in any of yesterdays games, AS at St Austell i saw 14.

With the Indy having loads of scores from further up the line I can beat that with:

big difference in duchy 5 to swp East although we normally finish the game with 11 players on the pitch.

Perhaps that is where St Austell are going wrong St A 2nds - if they think they are playing in South West Peninsula League East and not West Division1.

they arent good enough to play in any league let alone one of the top leagues in cornwall.

about time they all took a good look at themselves and played with some discipline !!!!!!!

Yes it is sad to see such a club with such a glittering history reduced to this.

well there is no budget and whenever a player starts playing well they leave to earn 10-15 quid somewhere else,

no1 from ecpl or combo wants to step up to a bottom3 club which is what st oz has become in recent seasons and the seconds team plays duchy 4 so the players arent of the standard to bring up..........

what can they do??

It think that most fair minded football followers in the County have every sympathy and it must be doubly frustrating when players leave for a few pounds. Hopefully St Austell will somehow get out of the doldrums because they have a fine tradition and have won countless trophies in the past.

I presume you are player Big no 9 - if you are with the Club good luck and I hope everything gets better with the Club both on and off the field.

yea i am a player, and i can proudly say that i am 1 of only 2 players who have stayed when 7 days have been put in, when i sign for a club i give them the season.

Good on you mate - hopefully your loyalty will be rewarded with some improved performances by the team.

It is refreshing to see such loyalty within the game.
