ant.tux
AFC Western Vets, in conjunction with Sticker FC are holding a second charity match in memory of their former player Paul Turner at Sticker FC on Sunday 14th Aug. The day starts with some youth football involving Charlestown, Biscovey and Tregorrick at 11am. Hopefully Carclaze Community Choir will be performing at about 12, followed by (approx 12.30pm) a match between Ex-Sticker and AFC Western Vets for the Paul Turner Memorial Shield donated last year by Paul’s mum. After the game local duo ‘Clay’ will be performing in the Clubhouse. There's a raffle with many excellent prizes. Admission is free, but there will be collection buckets available and all proceeds will go to Cornwall Hospice Care. Also on site will be a fast food wagon and ice cream van and the bar will be open all day. Attached are links to the event on Facebook and our club’s website. Have also attached a link to a Just Giving page which I’ve only just set up should anyone like to donate any money, but can’t make the event. https://www.facebook.com/events/1735526796703379/?notif_t=plan_user_declined¬if_id=1470809704401816 http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/afcwestern/news/paul-turner-charity-day-1658110.html https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Anthony-Tucker1
