More County Youth trials start again next week!

Glynn Hooper and his coaching team get down to serious business again next week.

Over the next two Thursdays at Brannel School, St Stephens, more trials will be held in the process towards selecting his final Cornwall FA County Youth squad for a friendly with a Plymouth Argyle U-16 side on the 10th September.

That friendly is to take place at Truro City and will be a great warm up before their first competitive match, in the FA County Youth Cup, against Guernsey on the 19th September, which will be a 2pm kick-off, also at Truro’s Treyew Road.

Despite these further trials, manager Hooper is still determined to make sure that the door is still very much open for any young player who hasn’t featured yet. He’s inviting anyone to contact him as soon as possible to have a chat, and better still, arrange for either himself or a member of his team to go along and watch them play now that the domestic local season is underway.

Also, for those players who made the next stage of trials, have you contacted the Cornwall FA to confirm your attendance? This can be done by either emailing Claire.summers-evans@cornwallfa.com or by phoning 01208 269010.
