Lanreath 1-1 St Stephens Borough

The Borough win on pens.

Not a classic by any means, a bit windy and the pitch was a bit bobbly.

We had the better of the 1st half and were deservedly 1-0 up at half-time when Luke Kelly charged the keeper down and shot into an empty net.

The 2nd half was 50-50, but in the 63rd minute Lanreath equalised.

So to penalties and the hero was Borough keeper, Ali Greensides. He saved 3 Lanreath penalties and the winning penalty was tucked away by Josh Pope, who sent the Lanreath keeper the wrong way.

Nanpean put up a great fight but were undone in the 73rd minute when Meva netted the all important goal.

It was Plymstock 3-1 Fowey Utd, Frampton with a last minute pen.
