Foxhole secured a home tie with Liskeard after this deserved victory. Nevertheless, Wendron settled the quicker and caused some anxious moments in a home rearguard, particularly from inswinging corners, but the returning Bullock was proving a calming influence, and his presence and the absence of Ames finally allowed Mark Rowe to add his weight to the attack. Despite the visitors enjoying some good possession, Ryan Holland was rarely tested throughout the afternoon; by contrast James had to be smart to save from Hill after Munro had been outpaced, and then the keeper tipped a looping header from Rowe over the bar, while Hill dragged a shot wide when well placed. However, on 41, Panter met Hill's floated corner which James could only parry, and Adam Holland reacted quickest to drive home.

The Foxes continued to create the better openings after the break. Hill saw a free-kick pushed out and a daisy-cutter safely gathered, before he released Rowe, but the shot was blocked. Adam Holland twice headed over from corners and Rowe nodded a Dillon set piece tamely wide before, with eleven minutes remaining, Hill's clever pass found Morris in space to fire the second past James. Maclean, who had wasted Wendron's best chance by delaying his shot for an eternity, was booked for a foul on Hill, while Rowe received yellow for kicking the ball away, but this was the only black mark on a satisfactory display.
