AJ715
Can anyone stop Penwith Exiles at the moment. 4 games 32 goals and they have put 8 goals past every team they have played so far
ian beale
They haven't played any of the stronger teams yet though!

ian beale
Fair enough, i think the real challenges will be town, mabe, ludgvan although i do believe pen with with be strong challengers!
Mangle
Newlyn beat Ludgvan 5-4, but lost to Penwith 8-2!?! Anyway, we get our second chance on Saturday as rather oddly, we are playing our second and last match in the league this season against them exactly 14 days after the first game. Wish us luck. Yeah but you had 2 Liddicoats playing when you played Ludgvan ...... The joy of a midweek game. If they would drop down on Saturday I'm sure you would improve on 8-2. Good luck on Saturday Mangle. cornish soccer fan
WHO CARES!!! Other than the want-a-be, nobodies in the little bubble that in Penwith Exiles! If the players are that good , why not step up & play for a struggling team like Penzance.
Dean306
Why would players from a team that's doing well over the last 2 seasons want to leave to join as you say "a struggling" club like penzance.
Dean306
We're a group of mates who have formed up a club and have drafted in good players locally, West Cornwall also done this a few years back and now look where they are! groups of mates wanting to play together, trying to go up through the leagues

cb_fc
To be fair to exiles gary worked hard to pull a struggling side together week after week and now yes a few changes have happened over last couple seasons but ask urself this r these glory hunters after silverware... umm no. Not likely to be or is it a string of mates who want to play together and for a manager and ur simply jealous cos they r doing well. Everyone praises a certain player last season for scoring big but now ur all jealous cos theres a new big fish. Does make for good reading though and always good to see new teams doing well. I hope exiles do well this yr its boring seeing the same teams win leagues season after season. All the best gary and the guys keep going. Let the haters hate and watch on with there green eyes. bluenose
Exiles are no different to a lot of other clubs, including us, that have put together a strong team of mates who want to play together. We were criticised at the beginning, being accused of glory hunting but the team is still together and now in Div 2. If Exiles stick together then they should progress up the leagues as well. These teams should be encouraged as it makes the Trelawney league more competitive.
cb_fc
Exactly and if its a team of mates then more likely that the team will keep going rather than a bunch of guys who've only met on a training pitch.
