Bodmin 3 v 2 Penryn

Recommended Posts

Two cracking goals from Sean Johnston cutting in from the left gave the underdogs a two nil lead after 37 minutes. However within two minutes the current Senior Cup holders started their comeback with Lewis Reed notching a rare goal.

Chris Luxton levelled the contest just before the half-time break when the young striker slid in at the far post to turn in a left wing cross.

No goal feast in the second half however as the game ended up being decided by Adam Carter touching home a long ball forward before Bodmin had to finish the game with ten men after Shane Krac was shown his second yellow by referee Ian Roberts.

Bodmin : Miller, Reed (Simmonds), Rundle, Chambers ©, Morgan, Swiggs, Colwell, Krac, Carter, Luxton, Matthews (Brokenshire).

Penryn : Symons, Davis, Blizzard (Moody), Chinn, Oliver, Hoon, Johnston, Band (M Roberts), Trevaskis (J Roberts), Hobbs, Broglino.

Since their is only 2 posts on here from the game last night which I am very shocked about I will write on here. The game last night between Bodmin and Penryn was a stunning game too watch. Both teams played some very good football. Penryn gave Bodmin a panic at 2.0 up but Bodmin battled back even with a lad sent off they still managed too create decent chances. Penryn should hold their heads up high after their performance last night best of luck too Bodmin and helston in the final should be a cracker
