Mike Odgers Posted March 5, 2013 Report Share Posted March 5, 2013 The death has been announced of Bristol Rovers legend George Petherbridge at the age of 85 Born in Devonport,Plymouth he began his football at Greenbank School and then Greenbank Boys club before moving to Bristol where he played for his only League club Bristol Rovers Between 1945 and 1962 the winger made 457 Appearances and scored 85 goals for the Eastville club and then joined Falmouth Town for the 1963-64 season Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
