MattP
Scrappy game that I felt we edged tonight, thoroughly professional job by my lads defensively, and took our chance when it came. Many thanks to Saltash for hosting the fixture, and for their hospitality after, good luck for the rest of the season.
stewart cawte
For me Matt if our striker had taken half of his chances in the first half we would of been 3-0 up. It was very one sided first half. Second half i think only half the players came out and then when they did started 20mins after your lads. A game of 2 halves. a stupid free kick to give away and hope your lad is ok? with that dropping in the box a miss hit shot in off the post. It woke us up again and your keeper pulled off a great one handed save 5mins from the end. Well refereed and no sour grapes my end. Good luck in the next round and see you pre-season. Lafs
How did Saltash pitch hold up?
MattP
Lafs, pitch was OK. Bobbly and soft, as you'd expect, but it didn't really cut up. It had obviously been spiked to aid drainage, so could do with a roll, but perfectly playable.
Coley
Polperro are a strong side, have been for the past few seasons, expect to see them in the premier next season....hopefully upgrade their away changing rooms by then though!!!!
