Soccer Follower Posted February 17, 2013 Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 Camborne Park 0 Truro GWRSA 3 H/T 0-0 Camborne Park had first use of the Park Road slope and strong wind.They created some good chances but were unable to convert them.A lot of the play was in the Truro half. Truro had more of the play in the second half and also created some good chances,the difference was that they took their's.A fierce right foot shot,a close range one after the ball came back off the crossbar and the third was an individual effort as a central defender ran through and struck the ball from 35 yards. stokefan1 Posted February 17, 2013 Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 kind of agree with soccer follower to be honest, we had 5 guys in squad on their debut and settle in well, we had some great chances 3 or 4 clear cut and defended solidly with truro's counter attack however we didn't make the pressure count! first 10-15 second half went end to end and then truro got first a rebound was fired in after great save by our keeper and luck of bounce for 2nd and great individual goal for last no way though were they 3 goals better! we just needed to be more clinical 4 or 5 more available next week onwards and upwards, 12 out of our 16 were under 21 years age one of many positives to take into next game and also our cup semi against truro in a few weeks time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
