Piran
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jtd0SjZH-oQ&feature=youtu.be For the first time ever, I somehow managed to have standby on when a goal was scored. So I can't have been at the races either.

Common Tater
A shadow of the team that outplayed Welling. The highlights don't tell the whole story, of how City failed to capitalise on the acres of space Billericay left behind their flat defence. Moore has the speed to use that but at 3-1 and 4-1 down, even at 4-2, there was too much square passing in their own half of the field. Billericay hit early balls to create chances. City players seemed too eager to do well, taking a touch too many and not exploiting the gaps between their back four, instead playing too many long balls that weren't long enough, easily cut out by Billericay's tall defence. Watts added a touch of class and vision. Moore's goal was outstanding but he wasn't served well. Off the field, it felt like a football club again. Lots of stewards, 50/50 tickets sold at the turnstile (£80 prize!), audible PA with plenty of information, the clubhouse is open every day, live football when broadcast. What a shame that Heaney's legacy is the 10 point deduction and, more perniciously, the embargo which is solely down to him, both stranding the team without much hope. If City are relegated it will be his fault. The people running the club now as well as the players and coaches deserve better.
