Callington 1 - Dobwalls 0

Lucassi was the scorer for Callington - free header at back post from a corner after the first ball in wasn't dealt with.

Changed system tonight to 451 which helped us dominate possession of the ball especially 2nd half when we camped in their half for 30 of the 45 minutes. But with that change we lacked the usual puch up top and Joe Knight had thankless task of leading the line by himself.

We feel we battled really well tonight and we were well worthy of a point. The golden chance came 10 minutes from time when keeper made great save from Harry Hook and rebound fell to Hakey who smashed it at goal but it went a few yards wide.

That's the closest we've come to beating Cally in last 3 seasons and any neutral watching or honest Cally supporter will admit we ran them very close tonight.

Dead balls in from Blatch for Callington were outstanding and posed a real threat.

We move onto Saturday now and Mousehole away (some air miles there) . . . . . .
