Magic Mike Posted May 21, 2011 Report Share Posted May 21, 2011 Rosudgeon 6-1 St Day reserves Saints went into their final league game missing 6 regulars so we all put our names in the hat and drew out our positions Good bit of fun today and rosudgeon thoroughly deserved the win Saints could have been two up before rosudgeon scored and the rosudgeon second was a penalty given for a high foot? Even though the player put his head down around man boob height! Not sure that was the correct decision! Maybe indirect free kick? Not 100% on the laws of the game in that area! Highlights for saints were an Andrew pooley penalty with 10 left which meant he didn't have to do the naked run round the pitch fo being the only regular player not to score this season, other highlights were 59 year old Brian "beefy" smeeth managing his first 90 minutes for a while, Some unbelievable tekkers from the 16 stone Cat saw him call the nutmeg and issue it on the rosudgeon Geordie number 12 whippersnapper! Bet he was gutted to be megged by probably the most rotund player in the division! Lol Good bunch of guys down there and good luck next season!
