  • CITY ALERT - LEE'S VERDICT & TEAM NEWS

Bedford Town 1 Truro City 1

Lee Hodges: "It was a difficult match, considering the way Bedford set themselves up; they were very defensive and tried to hit us on the counter attack and it was very hard to break them down. We gave away a sloppy goal early on but recovered from that. We played some neat stuff and got the equaliser we deserved.

"It was a workmanlike performance in very humid conditions. By the last ten minutes, both teams were out on their feet. I feel it was a point gained rather than two dropped."

Marcus Martin came through okay, following his calf injury sustained at Evesham earlier in the week, but skipper Jake Ash is still a doubt for tomorrow's match at home to Bashley (7.45 pm). Scott Walker is continuing to make good recovery from his knee operation.

Bashley drew 1-1 at home to Didcot Town on Saturday and are currently second from bottom, having drawn one and lost two.
