Evenly fought throughout,the closest that either team came in the first half was a shot off the top of the crossbar just before half time.

In the first minute of the second half an attack from defence up the right ended with a looping volley by Mike Catterall over the Sixes keeper.John Lee added a second in the 70th minute when he cut in from the left beating two defenders.Premier Sixes,who are a very good footballing team,pulled a goal back in the closing stages when a free-kick rebounded off the post hitting the excellent keeper Leigh Isaacs on the back and then hitting the net.

Enjoyable match and well done both teams.

Terrible conditions but a cracking game, with both sides trying to play on the deck. Impressed with Premier Sixes, very good side, good bunch.
