gerrans 4 - 0 altarnun we were 2 nil up after 20 mins with a tap in from harris and a good diving header from haydn andrews. We then took our foot off the gas and allowed altarnun to attack us but we withstood the pressure.Second half down the slope we pressed but couldnt finish the game, and altarnun with the wind behind them hit the woodwork twice direct off corners. But then with two injuries and no subs altarnun were down to 9 men and game over when we scored two through rob oldland and glynn hitchings. With ten to go harris missed a certain 1 on 1 and then we had a penalty which we invited our goalie andrew ayre to take. But the useless **** hit it soft at the goalie. All in all half decent game good bunch of lads altarnun.Another three points and its upto the rest of the chasing pack to catch us :drink::drink::drink::lol::lol::lol::clapper::clapper: :clapper:

5 Looe Town Vs Bere Alston 4

A physical affair, played on a horrible surface.

First half Bere were terrible and the 3-1 scorline flattered them as Looe could have had the game dead and buried.

However, the second half was a different story as Bere bombarded their goal but Looe looked dangerous on the break. Going into the last minute 4-4 with Bere looking like the team who could snatch the victory Looe scored a decent breakaway goal to take all 3 points.

Draw would probably have been a fair result overall but after a first half like ours a defeat was no more than we deseved.

Referee was good, bit fussy at times but did try and play advantage where possible.

Would like to mention one Looe player in particular (think it was number 9), who after going in for a fair 50/50 challenge hurt our leftback and he could not run after the ball (even though he tried) and the Looe player picked up the ball with a free run on goal played the ball out of play. In the rules of the game he was not obliged to do think and in what was a fiesty affair at times this was excellent sportsmanship!! :smiley20:

St Dennis 3 - 1 P6 HT 2-0

In a nutshell - St Dennis 3-5-2 vs P6 4-4-2, P6 all over shop with Karl Olander and Martyn Probert absent, sloppy defending cost us as St Dennis bagged two goals in quick succession. Rob Black hit the x-bar for P6.

Half-time Phil Brown was rolled out for a guest appearence for the hair dryer treatment.

second half - St Dennis 3-5-2 vs P6 3-5-2. P6 looked much stronger in the second half and pulled one back through Neil Currah. Two unbelieviably poor errors let St Dennis in to go 3-1 up 2 minutes after we had got back into it. Dan Code then saw his FK bounce back off the St Dennis bar. P6 probably had more terroritory in the second half but left big holes at the back meaning St Dennis looked dangerous on the break. P6 had about 5 penalty shouts in the second half, 4 were half hearted one was massive as St Dennis defender handled a shot, but the ref was on the halfway line so nothing was given.

Not a bad game

There will be changes next week for sure vs Calstock.
