maximus xi Posted November 21, 2009 Report Share Posted November 21, 2009 At last some football, Watched our seconds today at Godolphin in the last 16 of the Junior Cup East and I'm glad I went. It was great to see our young side play with so much composure they never argue with each other playing as a team which is refreshing to see. I was a little surprised to see top scorer Andy Cordner warming the bench after he seems to be over his recent injury. Back to the game and Lanreath were always in front 0-1 half time, early goal from Martin Ruffin after the restart 0-2, then G's got one back before Lanreath extended to 1-3. After a couple of injuries to Lanreath players G got in back to 2-3, with 20mins to go enter Cordner. Full time and Cordner has scored a hatrick!!!!!!!! 2-6. Dan Collings was booked for breaking up a fight as G got a bit fiery but all in all an entertaining game and I'm looking forward to the next round. :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
