isaac rosenberg Posted October 18, 2009 Report Share Posted October 18, 2009 Not content with sacking the man who had kept the Combo team at Penzance going by even washing their kit, Mr Mewton BANNED me from watching the team I sponsor at Penlee Park yesterday because I had correctly drawn attention, when a club oficer, to his killegal attempts to approach players from another club with the news that they would be selected for Cornwall Youth if they signed for Penzance. I also correctly predicted that the recession would scupper grandiose financial plans of last season at Penzance AFC. Sure enough, the Chairman has gone. When you don't like the truth, ban your critics from speaking it. Penzance AFC appeared to have only one ball at one point during yesterday's game.
