Dave Deacon
It was a long time coming (58 minutes or thereabouts) before the opening goal - an up and under which Ellis Glassup, the Town 'keeper made a hash of! Although some would ask whether he was bundled into the net with the ball or not? The ball in was touched home by Gerens James. A goal up, the Magpies probably played their best football of the match and went further ahead ten minutes from time when a flowing move was well finished off by Jonny Ludlam after Andy Westgarth listened to the shout and stepped over the cross. A right footed low shot beat Glassup. Elsewhere it was Cullompton Rangers 2 - 1 Witheridge Liskeard Athletic 3 - 3 Holsworthy (their second 3-3 draw with each other in two weeks! ) The table looks like this:- PENZANCE 6 4 1 1 16 9 7 13 ELBURTON VILLA 8 3 4 1 17 13 4 13 IVYBRIDGE TOWN 7 4 1 2 15 12 3 13 CULLOMPTON RANGERS 6 4 1 1 13 10 3 13 BUCKLAND ATHLETIC 6 3 2 1 19 10 9 11 ST.BLAZEY 5 3 1 1 10 4 6 10 PLYMOUTH PARKWAY 6 3 1 2 14 10 4 10 WITHERIDGE 7 3 1 3 15 12 3 10 TORPOINT ATHLETIC 7 3 1 3 9 16 -7 10 BODMIN TOWN 3 3 0 0 10 4 6 9 SALTASH UNITED 3 3 0 0 10 4 6 9 BOVEY TRACEY 7 2 2 3 13 12 1 8 DARTMOUTH 5 2 1 2 6 7 -1 7 LISKEARD ATHLETIC 7 1 3 3 12 16 -4 6 TAVISTOCK 5 2 0 3 8 16 -8 6 FALMOUTH TOWN 4 1 0 3 5 7 -2 3 WADEBRIDGE TOWN 6 1 0 5 5 15 -10 3 HOLSWORTHY 5 0 2 3 9 14 -5 2 LAUNCESTON 6 0 2 4 8 18 -10 2 CLYST ROVERS 5 0 1 4 2 7 -5
