Suzie Chow
The opening game from Falmouth Ladies in the South West Counties Div. West against Newquay saw the home team take a 4 1 win at Bickland Park today !! I really cant do them justice with an attempt at a match report but safe to say, they played some very impressive football!! Becky Hall (2) Julie Lawrence 1 (a superb header) and a long range goal from Sarah Winn. Helen Stubbs was the goal scorer for Newquay who as a team, played really well and put Falmouth under pressure at times. Neil Phillips Black and Amber Army !!!!! Attendance 45. Mark Jones
thanx Monty does look better than the actual surface. but next year i want it to be better and so on... may not look as good when winter gets going.... but aim now not to get any silly postponments. therefore plenty of spiking and slitting!! Guest Monty
Mark, Will take a few years but at least you are going in the right direction, as long as the club listen to you as their groundsman when it is fit to play etc etc then they wll have a playing surface to be proud of. :smiley20:

There were 11 players on the pitch ! more spectators than the First team. Not for a competitive game this season so far! Its not a competition y'know !! 45 spectators, most of who, enjoyed what they saw !! Ladies football is incredibly important to the status of Football Clubs as most of you are probably aware, so its important that they are well supported !! Next home game Sunday 13th September 2pm Kick off Bickland Park Versus Bude Town !! Down your Roast Dinners and get yer arses down there !!!
