AJW
At our traditional FA Cup Final morning match, I heard that St Anns Chapel, who have just had a good season in Duchy 2, had folded at heir recent AGM and this was reported in the regional press. I have to say that this is a bit of a surprise and wonder if anyone else had any further information.

AJW
So what has happened to all the Bere Alston players who have just gained promotion from Duchy 3 - or is this going to be a Bere Alston third team?

Keith Franks
Strange decision by St Anns Chapel, as it was more than likely they would have gained promotion anyway to a higher division, going on the decisions made before by the management committee last season. So they stay in the same division under a different name. Anyone else heard of clubs not entering the Duchy League this season?
wally6
Maybe a strange decission but had the best interests of the players in mind. St anns was losing the treasurer and secretary so made sense to move to a better structured club with an east cornwall premier standard pitch. May have to play in the same league again but now can attract better standard of player.
