Welbeck
It is very disappointing that Paul Blatchford has decided to move to Liskeard Football Club as Joint Manager. The challenge that he and the victorious team from last season in moving up to the East Cornwall Premier League was immense. In making the move to Liskeard he has let down his players, the Club Management and the loyal supporters. We will Survive!!

Or maybe, thanks Paul for all you've done and good luck for your new challenge! I think mine sounds more polite don't you? No-one is bigger than any club, when someone leaves you move on. As he was part of last seasons success thank him for it and look forward to the new season.
tomhall
Its dissapointing that people hide behind names on hear and slag others off, maybe you dont know the reasons Blatch has decided to leave? As shut it henry said maybe you should be thanking him for everything he has done for st dominick football club and wishing him good luck at his new club and the massive callenge he faces there?? MOUNTAINEER
When players succeed and move up the footballing ladder everyone wishes them well, surely the same goodwill should apply when managers achieve things, the success enjoyed has been because of the managers efforts, a YEARS WORK (maybe more) rewarded. It is harder to be a successful manager than a successful player. Good Luck to Paul Blatchford at the higher level. The response from his former club (St.D) leaves a lot to be desired, they should be ashamed.
lionheart
Well said mountaineer...Having played and managed it is easier to play 90 mins, quick drink and chat after and go home. Once you try your hand at managing you realise how bloody hard it can be with sorting teams, opposition, pitch, ref, line up, monies and paperwork only to start the whole process again the following day. Some people should show a bit of appreciation for managers cos without them I can assure you there would hardly be any matches ( if none ) played weekly. major privates
It would be unfair to assume that the only post that nees00n53 has ever made represents the whole of St Dominick! I know St Dominick are very grateful for the hard work and success that Paul has put in since he came in and naturally are disappointed to lose a manager and naturally a few players who have brought that success. Although it is a league below, there is an excellent set up at Liskeard, attractive to any ambitious player/manager. Good luck to Paul and any players that decide to follow. Thank you for your efforts at St Dominick and all the best at Liskeard.

MOUNTAINEER
Come on then,Jamie! let us all have the "facts" A bit unfair to ask Jamie what's gone on, that's putting him too much on the spot. Come On you lot in the know - Spill the beans.
