  1. All credit to Gwinear who worked their socks off and probably deserved a draw. We were woeful at best, just thankful we managed to get the 3 points thanks to a last minute winner from Connor Rhodes.
  2. Interesting debate but can anyone clarify if the Gwinear v Probus game has a ref?
  3. Delighted for Knighter & Powelly to start with a 4-0 win. Decent all round performance and several players put a shift in but I thought Jordan Dingle was the stand out player. If they can add a couple to the squad soon I still believe town have a lot to play for this season.
  4. Just read on twitter that Falmouth have signed Ryan Martt, Ollie Moody, Dave Blizzard, Dave Broglino from Penryn. If this is correct, thats 4 very good signings for them as all are more than capable of playing in premier division. Well done Westy, these lads will definitely strengthen your squad. Hope Paul manages to bring in a few at Penryn as the west division looks very competitive too.
  5. Can't quite believe how this thread has developed. Are we really going to have persons coming on here threatening to report a manager for an opinion that wasn't in any way inappropriate? The actual game was fairly uneventful with hardly any contentious decisions, just people with differing opinions because of how they saw it. The ref had a good game in my opinion, Yes he may of made one or two incorrect decisions but in comparison to the dozens of incorrect decisions the players made (mostly me) during the game, I think he'll progress well up the officiating ladder. Well done Tomleft, keep up the good work and all the best to Tempo and Frogpool for next season ?
  6. Def a game of two halves.. Delighted to get through against a very tough Four Lanes team and in my opinion they have the stand out player in our league. Don't know his name but he was no 10. The big no 9 is decent too to be fair. Fair play to our lads too who certainly responded to some choice words from our manager at half time.... Just the small matter of a cup final and a big few league games left. last mention has to go to our 16 year old keeper Sam Jones, what a penalty save ?
  7. Sorry my mistake, honestly thought he had a scouse accent. All the best for rest of season ?
  8. Fair play to Four Lanes, just one of those days for us. Thought they bossed the middle of park with the no 10 and the captain no 6 outstanding. The big scouse lad up front also proved to be a real handful for our back four. Hope the ref is ok too, he appeared to be carrying a knock which restricted his movement. Thanks for your hospitality after game and look forward to the cup semi at end of April
  9. Sorry 1ofthekids, frustrating I bet having organized a minibus.... I know we've organized one for our visit to you next week. Our manager was at the ground at 8am this morning trying to get the game on.... hopefully see you next sat ?
  10. looks like the cup draws has been reasonably favorable to Probus, two relatively close away fixtures in Camleford and Tavistock !!!!!!
  11. Just had a text from Ernie's son Kevin, the funeral is, WEDNESDAY 23rd JANUARY AT 2.30pm IN PROBUS followed by drinks at PROBUS Comrades club. Parking is available at the playing field where (PROBUS AFC play) or at the village hall.
