noahc Posted October 1, 2014 Report Share Posted October 1, 2014 in the 1973 cornwall senior cup final at truro, penzance opposed the all conquering falmouth town. after losing goalkeeper peter collins early on, full back john mead donned the gloves for the rest of the game, keeping a clean sheet as the game ended 0-0. he did pick up a winners medal after a 4-2 replay win.
