oldasitgets Posted January 4, 2009 Report Share Posted January 4, 2009 Division 2 Mullion 7 Crowntown 3 Crowntown reduced by man-flu to a bare eleven (no keeper) were forced to play Billy for the full 90 minutes in his first game since last March! (at his age!) A couple more were suffering with the after effects of the 'flu - it didn't look good. Especially when at 10.20 only three had made it to Mullion. Mullion had a squad of 93 players to choose from. (possibly) Still, a good game played in a fine spirit, capably reffed by Nigel Nicholls. Crowntown scorers Jamie Marles 2, Stuart Smeeth 1. Could have been closer. Crowntown let in a couple of silly goals (nothing new there) and should have scored three or four more. So it goes. Bookings 0 Dismissals 0 ( Not even close.)
