Dave James
I have been informed by CCFA that Tremough have been eliminated from the Sunday Cup after playing an unregistered player against Camborne Park in their 1-0 win. Camborne Park have been reinstated and will be at home to Wendron in the 1/4 final on Sunday 11th January Once again attention to detail lacking somewhere . :(

With all this bad weather around Even more reason NOT to have rounds in DEC and JANUARY !!! Play the final at the end of April when ALL the clubs can go and watch ??? Pete Tully
Does anyone know what date the sunday cup final will be? Is it same each year? cheers
Dave James
Pete .....Sunday final is on 22nd March this year . Pity that the powers that be make such a mockery of the rounds each year . For the last 2 years they have NOT held a round in November .......... but they ALWAYS hold rounds in Dec - Jan when all of the games NEVER get played on scheduled dates because of the bad weather ........sometimes it has taken 8 weeks to get these played and doesn`t half mess up the Leagues . Why do they insist in holding the final in February ( last year ???) or March most other years . Surely it makes more sense to stage it at the end of April when most Sunday clubs have finished their League fixtures and could then go and watch the final on a decent surface and bring a bit more of an atmosphere to the day with a decent sized crowd .........County would even make some money on the gate . But we are only Sunday teams who don`t really matter to the Gods in charge !! :Santa:
Pete Tully
Damn it!!! IF, and before anyone has a go, i said IF, Wendron make the final, i go to Oz 2 days before hand, bloody typical. If we make it reckon they'll postpone it a month?!

Guest feasey1
As it stands we are appealing against the FA's decision to throw us out of the cup. The player alledged to have played illegally we are certain the paperwork had been sent off for. His name was even put down on the team sheet for that week so when it came through on here it was a suprise that we had been kicked out, not just because we believe the player is signed on but also because the teams secretary didnt inform me. Either way the league and the other two cups are all ours its just a matter of weather we can still compete for the county cup or not

oldasitgets
its just a matter of weather we can still compete for the county cup or not Intentional pun? If so very nice. Whether the weather lets you - with your backlog of fixtures!
Guest feasey1
The illegal player is Matthew Read, has played quite a few games in the league for us coming on as a sub this season, it is a very frustrating situation we are in at the moment, kicked out of a cup and struggling to play games on time...i just hope the new year brings a little more luck and good weather.
