Gary Hocking
Following today's 7-3 Mousehole victory over Bishops Cleeve, and with Larkhall only able to draw 1-1 away to Cribbs, Mousehole are through to the Southern League Division One South playoffs and will travel to Frome in the semi-final on Wednesday 1st May. SomersetObserver
I remember saying last year in when they were in the Western League that Hayden Turner could play a couple of levels higher and he has certainly shown that again this season, a real quality player. Should be a cracking game on Wednesday with Mousehole's slick passing style against Frome's more direct style of play. Over 1000 at Badgers Hill today so should be similar on Wednesday. I fancy that Mousehole might sneak it with, Frome only have 1 win in their last 5 since their talisman Jon Davies got injured early on in their game on that field at Exmouth. The biggest worry for Mousehole will be that Frome are a real danger from set pieces and whenever I have seen Mousehole the last couple seasons that is something that they have usually struggled with.
