Four Lanes 3 New Park Rangers 2

Four Lanes avenged an earlier season defeat at New Park in a very competitive Mining 2 game last night!

Trailing 2-0 at the break, New Park showed brilliant spirit and heart to draw level early into the second half, through a Johnny Jones penalty and Ian cunningham header.

Both sides had very good opportunities to move ahead but it was'nt till a couple minutes from the end that Four Lanes did convert one of those chances to take all three points.

Not a great game but 3 points gained is the main thing, Gwinear took the lead with a well worked

free kick giving A Bucks no chance, Britton equaised just before h/t.

Second half we played much better & a further 2 goals from Britton(one screamer from 25yds),1 from myself,thats 4 this season for me now, & K Mitchell rapped things up.

A little note to Porky if he reads this,if you keep up with play you would know it crossed the the line but you had a good game anyway....cheers

It was a darting run into the box from a corner & after a couple of deflections of various players I vollied it in with my knee.... :lol:
