Guest Postie Pidge Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Has anyone else played at Cury this season noticed that the goal areas are not the right shape?
Guest Helston Patriot Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Has anything on curys pitch been right? ever?.........
Guest Postie Pidge Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Haha or perhaps Stig or one of the other referee's could perhaps prove me wrong. The six yard box is fine, looked normal. The 18 yard box, although it seemed 18 yards, the distance between the width of the 6 and 18 yard boxes was no where near right. I assume that is important.
Anita Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 The penalty area. A penalty area is defined at each end of the field as follows: Two lines are drawn at right angles to the goal line, 16.5m (18yds) from the inside of each goalpost. These lines extend into the field of play for a distance of 16.5m (18yds) and are joined by a line drawn parrallel with the goal line. The area bounded by these lines is the penalty area.
