Tommy Matthews Posted July 29, 2011 Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 Cornwall County F.A. are inviting players under the age of 18 as of August 31st 2011 to their trials at the following venues. Players should be playing ay SWPL, JCCL, or ECPL level. Thursday August 25th at Wendron FC (West) Thursday September 1st at Roche FC (East) Players who are successful will be asked to attend an East v West game on Thursday September 8th at a venue to be decided, and subsequent training evenings. All secretaries at Cornwall's senior clubs have been contacted and asked to put forward players who they consider eligible and who have a desire to play county football this season. Please ask your secretary to nominate you if you wish to take part or e-mail your details (name, address, DOB, contact number, club, preferred playing position) to davidjbray@onetel.com. Our first match this season is against Devon on Saturday, October 1st and we're really keen to see a good turn out from all interested players at the trials. Would all interested players please send your details to David Bray or ask your club secretary to forward the information on your behalf. We are hoping for a strong turn out for the trials and hope to be a position to have competition for places throughout the squad from all areas of the county.
