MOUNTAINEER
Truro City's goal was credited to Marcus Martin, later it was announced over the clubs loudspeaker system that it was Stewart Yetton, the official Zamaretto League website credits it to Marcus Martin. Do we accept the official league version? I heard it was a deflected shot that Stewart Yetton may have got the faintest of touches on. Pity we can't give both a goal, then we would have won. :yahoo:
Mr.T
Whats happened to the HUGE crowds.? :ninja:
Graham Martin
Quite right MrT - where are they..? It would appear people in Cornwall would rather watch Rugby than go and see a table-topping Southern league Team playing great football and potentially on the verge of going up to the Conference..! MOUNTAINEER
Whats happened to the HUGE crowds.? BIG G will like this reply. I BLAME THE WOMEN. .................................. Was I right Graham? I am 74 years old and enjoy watching non league football, top standard was in the past, during the last 10 maybe 20 years I have met hundreds of people, maybe thousands, who TALK FOOTBALL but do not attend any matches, the majority when asked reply that they would love to go to a match, when I ask why don't you almost all reply, the wife (or girlfriend) wouldn't like it, we go shopping on Saturday afternoons, it is usually then that I explode. A football match gives you Fresh Air Excitement or despair Great company A Bar drinks with new pals. Sod the little woman she can have you when you come home. .... more :yahoo:
