Bazzer Posted September 20, 2009 Report Share Posted September 20, 2009 Brian Durkin who was probably one of the best footballers ever to don a Newquay shirt sadly passed away on saturday after a long illness,Brian was a terrfic player who played for Runcorn in the northern premier league and was on blackburns books before moving to newquay where he played for several seasons during the 70,s and 80,s,Brian was a true gentleman of the game and was highly respected in the game.
