Suzie Chow Posted August 30, 2009 Report Share Posted August 30, 2009 A long journey to Dartington proved fruitful for The Falmouth girls today as they took on Totnes. Totnes, who beat Plymouth Argyle last week 3 2, showed promise in the opening minutes of the game but were soon forced on the back foot by an awesome Falmouth side. The strength and quality was overwhelming for the home team and at half time Falmouth had bagged 6 goals. The girls didnt take their feet off the gas when the second half kicked off and 4 more goals came their way, one being an own goal, forced by Katy Barker. With twenty minutes to go Sasha Sparkes came on for Becky Hall who had an outstanding game. Goal scorers - Katy Barker (4!) Becky Hall (1) Keri Ann Moxom (2) Julie Lawrence (1) and goal of the game came from Sarah Winn. An outstanding performance girls !!! Result 10 0 to Falmouth. Im not donning the pinny this season at all so its not down to that !!! However..... Eight of them chose to have a pre match rub before the game training throughout the summer has helped with their fitness as well.
