Xembla
Now if I point out that City beat Falmouth Town tonight, will that be crowing and bragging, and therefore be condemned? Or if I don't mention it, will that be a sign that no one cares, and therefore be condemned? Do tell, anti-City types, what would be the appropriate posting here? Gee, I wouldn't want to be accused of talking about the tidy little victory, so however should we broach the subject? Or maybe we should just feel good about it, full stop! chairman
Hi Xembla, I would think it appropriate to mention the score, scorers and any highlights of the game as usual. Maybe to mention the attendance too, as that seems to be important these days. Good luck to both sides in the forthcoming season :c:
Xembla
Thank you, Chairman! That seems sensible enough, so here's what little I know: Final score: Truro City 4-0 Falmouth Town ATT: "This Is Cornwall" live blog estimated approx. 300, despite the soggy conditions Scorers: Ash (40, 47), Martin (54), Broad (80). I believe all the goals were headers! Highlights: the Smith/Santos Gaia matchup was apparently quite lively and physical, and after a clash of heads Falmouth's Rawlings and Truro's Watkins both went off, and Watkins was taken to hospital as a precaution. Lots of subs on by the end. ROLL CITY ROLL
MOUNTAINEER
Nice to see the Wells Fargo Express is still getting through. :clapper:
