Saltash

Recommended Posts

First of all can I say a big thank you to Saltash reserves for traveling down to play Hayle's 1st team, a good bunch of lads who played the game in the right spirit.

However it was very dissappointing not to see Saltash's 1st team come, as this was who the fixture was arranged with several weeks ago, and a level 3 referee agreed to. who a big thanks also goes out too.

A courtesy call to say they had switched teams would have been nice, enabling Hayle to arrange another fixture with a team from the premier division.

It is of course possible that Saltash have heard what a decent side Hayle are putting together(unbeaten and not conceded a goal), , and were running scared

Once again thanks to the reserves and good luck for the forthcoming season.

skyblueref......never slag off other teams before knowing the facts, part of the reason i returned to hayle was to encourage values and principles and better comments would have been to thank the people of hayle fc who today supported the co-op group with their charity match in aid of rnid,a great result for west against their east opponents 9-3(sorry paul-can,t win em all :P )almost 1.3million raised now and again a big thanks to the people of hayle fc (lee, shaun, greg, john amongst others)unsong heroes :c:

I do know all the facts as it was me who arranged the fixture, and I can assure you it was against the 1st team. I even spoke to their manager to confirm the referee.
