Tonight's friendly at Bodieve has been called off due to the pitch being under water (in the bloody summertime!)

They used the TOP PITCH on Sat v Vospers (and lost), that one can't be waterlogged, can it ? Or do they reserve the main pitch for bigger clubs ? What time was k.o. meant to be, do the lights work ?

Whats happening with Wadebridge, calling off friendlies left right and centre. Supposed to have been at Newquay next Tues but cried off due to lack of players !!!

Good call to make the decision to play or not early. It is a pre season so why drag players half way around the county "just in case"

The pitch has had 4 games played on it in less than a week and was starting to cut up a bit last night.

The "main" pitch is being managed sensibly so that it is in the best possible shape for the start of the season and has not had any matches played on it yet.

I believe that quite a few games have been called off or moved tonight so hardly just a Wadebridge problem.

At least the game on saturday was played at Wadebridge's ground and not at a local school ie Newquay combo v Parkway!

That was not the combo side or the 1st that played at treviglas school, it was made up of some new faces and some 16 year olds from are youth teams. Some good young talent on show and i think they got something out of the game which was the idea. They couldnt play at mountwise because the lines were not down DOES THAT ANSWER YOUR COMMENTS
