Mark Jones
There seems to be a outbreak of Red Thread disease through out the country. It is a turf fungi disease that affects the grass leafs. But will not kill the roots therefore the grass should recover. In the short term it may look a bit naff on your pitches. Outbreaks are common in high humidity. Dave Baker tells me that Penryn has loads of it as do we at Falmouth. A bit of fertiliser should help to control it. But it should also decrease when soil temperature starts coming down aswell.
