The 3rds are still in all cups and are 4th in the league, unbeaten in their last 7 games in all competitions. The 4ths are in 6th and have 4 wins from their last 6 games.
From those stats alone I'm not sure what the problem seems to be? In no way do they reflect team's that are falling apart. Yes some 4th team players helped out the 3rds in the Junior cup game last week because suspensions, injuries and players being cup tied left them a little short and all played incredibly well, which I guess is a benefit of having 2 Junior teams.
Also, anyone who has ever played against or for Penryn knows how easily the second pitch waterlogs so I'd imagine that was the case when you were supposed to play them.
