ant.tux Posted June 14, 2017 Report Share Posted June 14, 2017 At the Cornwall Veterans League AGM last night, it was unanimously agreed for the league to be split into two divisions to alleviate fixture congestion. The two newly formed divisions would be based on last season’s league standings, not based on geographical location. The divisions will be known as Division 1 and Division 2 and will remain as one game played between clubs as before (home or away). New entrants Saltash, and any other new teams who are accepted before the closing date of 13th July will enter Division 2. Holmans Cruisers have sadly withdrawn from the league and cups. Upon completion of the season the bottom 2 teams of Division 1 will be relegated and the top 2 teams of Division 2 will be promoted. All three cup competitions will continue as previously. The first league games will be Sunday 3rd September and games will on average fortnightly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TRUCKER Posted June 15, 2017 Report Share Posted June 15, 2017 We are new team Saltash United playing from Kimberly Stadium next season and are trying to recruit as many players from the local area as possible.
