Dave Deacon
Holsworthy...4 Tavistock...0 A depleted Tavistock side were well beaten by the interval at Upcott Field as their North Devon hosts had already built a 3-0 lead in this Premier Division game. Ian Rowe, who is subject to several seven day notice of approaches, opened the Magpies scoring on 15 minutes and then doubled their lead eight minutes later. Former Callington striker Danny Zalick added their third, five minutes before the break. Although Tavistock improved after the break the home side added a fourth midway through the half courtesy of Allan Clarke.
